blog cherry

so congrats to you!, my first blog experience and you were here for the whole thing. i could cry, but truthfully, i’m not really the sensitive type. i think i’m falling in love. ok ok, let’s not get carried away here.
a little information about me… i’m an online journalist for a newspaper inĀ  pennsylvania and i don’t know anything technical about computers (sad but true) so don’t expect anything flashy on here for a while, also i don’t like to capitalize. i’ll just have to hope that my content will suffice. britney spears, lindsay lohan, paris hilton.
i hate celebrities and moreso, i hate celebrity news. apart from the movies they star in and the money they donate to worthy causes, they are absolutely worthless. 95% of them, according to caseman.wordpress.com, should not be allowed to voice their opinions in a public forum. just be pretty/handsome, make movies, and shutcha trap. please don’t get me started on celebrity news tv shows.
i love sports. march to me is akin to christmas time to a 4 year old boy. the ncaa tournament is the cadillac, nay, the rolls royce phantom of sporting events. it makes the super bowl look like a subaru justy. no disrespect of course. if you disagree, your opinion is void, plain and simple. i love football, greatest sport to watch period. but one overhyped game? c’mon! speaking of overhyped, super bowl commercials have gone from being moderately entertaining to the equivalent of QVC. and even QVC has a good product once in a while (what a steal at $15.94!). not that i watch a lot of QVC…
the great thing about the ncaa tournament is that you don’t have to hear about it non-stop for two weeks ahead of time ala the super bowl. and did i mention, no stupid, lame halftime shows, just more hoops coverage.
also of importance, i picked north carolina in my bracket. they’re deep and roy’s proven, ’nuff said. talk about a crapshoot. i’m not in a pool and there’s no money on the line, so big whoop eh? wanna fight about it?

p.s. bye bye duke, krzyzewski, paulus, and fans…a team like, let’s say, syracuse could’ve put up a better fight than that. not that i’m bitter or anything. and no i don’t really believe that; syracuse could’ve lost to florida a&m, they’re inconsistent like that. but hey stanford, way to rise to the occasion.
